School Transport Rules

The school bus is available to all students. The bus fee must be paid on monthly basis, failing which the transport incharge will be authorized to cancel the student’s name from the bus list.

  • Students who avail the school transport facility should report at the pick-up point five minutes before the stipulated pickup time.
  • Students using school transport, will not be allowed to board any other bus route other than the one which has been assigned to them.
  • Students will not be permitted to avail school transport facility one way i.e. either to or from school. However, if such an arrangement is allowed, transport charge for both ways will be levied.
  • One month’s notice is to be given for discontinuation of school transport failing which conveyance charges for the said and the next month will be charged.
  • Charges for school transport will be levied for eleven months a year.
  • Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism.
  • The driver’s attention must not be distracted for any reason by the students.
  • The bus service provided by the school is a facility. We try to provide a good service and adhere to the timings to the best of our ability. The buses will follow the routes and stops as indicated and no change will be entertained.
  • No student should come near the door of the bus unless it comes to a complete halt.
  • When the bus is in motion, students must not move around and no part of their body should be outside the bus.
  • Unruly behaviour like, shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.

NOTE

The parents must ensure that drivers of private operators, who ferry the children to school, must possess the character and antecedent verification report from the police authorities. Do not allow your ward to drive any personal vehicle to the school. It is highly unsafe for your ward and for other students.
